8 days trip to Mikumi National Park and Ruaha National Park

Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam
Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you’ll be met by your guide who will transfer you to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Drive to Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, you’ll be driven to Mikumi National Park, which is about a 4-hour drive from Dar es Salaam. You’ll have a game drive in the afternoon, then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full day in Mikumi National Park
Spend the day exploring Mikumi National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Mikumi is known for its large herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and zebras, as well as predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5-7: Full days in Ruaha National Park
Spend the next three days exploring Ruaha National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives. Ruaha is known for its large population of elephants, as well as predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and wild dogs. The park is also home to a variety of antelope species, including greater kudu, sable antelope, and roan antelope. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, you’ll be driven back to Dar es Salaam for your onward journey.
